when my son was 3 he jumped off the couch onto the floor where i happened to be laying. he landed on my stomache. it became very sore and bled. i went to my dr and they did an x-ray, my navel had a large cut on the inside that couldnt be stitched or anything. they gave me anti biotics and told me it could take a while to heal. my son is 5 now and about once a year i have to go through this again, bleeding a little and soreness. i cant see a dr , i dont have insurance. could i be aggravating this old wound in my sleep or is this something i should worry about?

I know that navel injuries do not happen too often but when they do they can be very dangerous. You have to understand that this problem that you have might cause other complications in your abdominal area. The fact that you have a cut inside that you are not able to stitch is problematic. What did your doctor suggest besides the antibiotics. You have to be careful in next period. I think that you have to watch about your diet as well and you can not put too much pressure to your stomach. I hope that you will get better and that this helped you in any possible way.
