I am 65 years old I have type 2 diabetes and take daytime and evening insulin. Today I had epidurial spine injection for my back. The one of the side effects of this injection is that it raises blood sugar. Currently my number is 400, how high is too high. Is it safe to take my insluin to reduce my number I take novalog with meals and lantis in the evening (which is a long acting medication)
