Hello my boyfriend is 7 weeks out from having the 3 piece implanted and he is already having regrets.He is depressed because of decrease of penis girth and length which in my option is more than 2 inches. He was previously taking the injections with the vacuum pump and bands but couldn't ejaculate and had pain after 30 minutes and swelling and bruising for days after. He used Viagra with it and it got bigger and the glans swelled but hes still not happy. Does anyone have any advice? He asked me to research for him. I have read about augmentation with penile prosthesis implant and he wants more info. Im also curious and want to learn more about men who have had their prosthesis removed and their stories. Please help he's a 43, unmarried, no kids, nice guy. He's been in counseling for a year now cause of his ED. Thanks

I had penile implant surgery in Sept of 2007. I am very happy with the results. The implant I had installed is the "Mentor Titan II" and it is a 3-piece inflatable unit. I am able to achieve an erection any time I want and it stays hard for as long as I (or she) wants it to, even if I ejaculate it still stays hard. As you probably know the implant consists of 2 tubes that fit on either side of the inside of the penis, there is a small round pump that fits inside my right scrotum, and the saline reservoir that is implanted in my lower abdominal wall. All 3 parts are connected with small tubes. If you saw a man naked who had an implant you would never know it was there. Everything looks and feels perfectly normal. When I want an erection I just pump it up and when I am finished I depress a spot on the side of the pump and it deflates back to normal size.
Your bf seems to be concerned about size - all men are. In most cases there will be a loss of length of about 1" but there will be an increase in the girth of about 1" to 1-1/2". Prior to my surgery my penis was 8" long and 5" around and now I am 7" long and 6-1/2" around. My wife is rather petite and actually likes the new size better than before. Your boyfriend should understand that it is not safe to try to increase his length by requesting an implant that is longer than his natural length due to "internal erosion". If the implant is too long it can actually break through the skin on the head of the penis - most painful.
The reason I got an implant was a cure for ED which started affecting me at age 57. I tried all 3 of the Viagra type meds and they gave me terrible side affects such as massive headaches, flushing, and increased heart rate. I also tried TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) and Caverject injections. The Caverject worked wonders but it is difficult to give yourself a shot in your penis and there is no spontaneity to having sex. My wife is 12 years younger than me and still had a big appetite for sex so I wanted to do what I could for her as well as being able to feel good about myself. It was quite depressing for me not to be able to perform. The implant took care of all that. I regained my self esteem and feel like a man again. I keep mine about half inflated. It looks good in a pair of jeans and has nice locker room appeal at the gym.

I just had my implant seven weeks ago this past week. I wish I wouldn't have had it done I have not been able to have orgasm and now my shaft is feeling really knotty I seen the dr she said I had that problem before the surgery I disagree I would have known if I would have had a knotty shaft and I was able to have orgasm before .Does your boyfriend have any of those issue?oh I got to have surgery in a few weeks because the pump moved im 43 also
Hope things turned out well. It has been 13 months since my implant, and things are great. Great sex. My girth and length came back and my wife likes the feel of my inflated penis in her vagina. It works. Give it time. Thanks,Gary
I tried all the pumps, injections, and Viagra and nothing worked for me. I had the Mentor Titan II 3 piece implant installed in Sept 2006 and my wife and i are thoroughly satisfied. I lost about an inch in length with the implant but it is necessary because of internal erosion. During sex and the heavy thrusting motion, if the implant is too long, the tips of the implant chambers can press against the inside of the penis head and cause discomfort. I was 8" long before my surgery and i am 7" now. My circumference before my implant was installed was 5-1/2' at the middle of the shaft and it is 6-1/2" now. My wife says she doesn't miss the length as she is petite in size and prefers thickness. Mentor doesn't make the implant any more. It is manufactured by a company called Coloplast. I ended up with one small cylinder. And it hurts like hell. Keep in mind if he has it romoved he will never get hard again. I hear over time it gets better

I have to have another surgery for the seventh time to try a new device and I hope to Jesus Christ this one works. I was born with a defect of a vein that leaked blood all my life until I found out when I was 40 that it had been leaking blood all this time.
I was a virgin when I got married the first time and had horrible experiences and my first wife left me because I couldn’t please her.
My second wife left me because I couldn’t please her as well. I could write a book on how far down to hell a man can go before he is semi rescued by God before he commits suicide.
I have made many attempts to kill myself but never did what was necessary to complete the job. I had to hive up in ever having any relationship and I hope one day when I have my last and Final surgery that my body won’t reject it and I can have a once and for all sex life that I haven’t had in over 50 years.

I have had no problems at all with my implant and would not like to go back to my old self with ED problems. This implant has been positively out of this world. I love mine. It works great.
