I am due to have implant surgery in 6 days, I do not smoke cigs but I am a marijuana smoker. I did not plan on telling the surgeon but perhaps the anesthesiologist. Can anyone provide some feedback/advice? Thanks

Weed is much worse than Cigs. Your bleeding could be uncontrolable. Why not tell you surgeon? You could be commiting suicide. I do not smoke either and when I had surgury. My blood loss was very dangerous. Smarten up

I can’t understand why you haven’t informed your surgeon about your habit of smoking marijuana? This is very irresponsible from you and please inform him. Probably you are not gonna suffer any consequences but since this procedure is done under anesthesia somehow I believe that it isn’t smart mix marijuana together with anesthesia.
So first of all inform your surgeon and second of all you should consider quit smoking marijuana and especially on the day of the surgery.
Like you need to smoke something like that. It is probably just bad influence of your friends and you are probably aware that it is a bad thing otherwise you would inform your surgeon without any fear. Good luck with the procedure.
