Hi, I had my rhinoplasty surgery by a really reputable surgeon but I had to travel to another country so it was up to me to take the splint off after 2 weeks. I had the tip made more defined and a bump removed, and also the septum was deviated so he fixed that. Anyway I have taken it off and I am so worried, because the tip looks fine but the actual bridge of my nose isnt completely syymetrical but more importantly, its really wide right near the top! I swear its wider than before, and when i press it it is bone so I dont understand how it will get narrower?! Does anyone know if the actual bone is swollen at the bridge? I can post pics. Im just worried, i that part was ok I would be totally happy but I cant see how it is swelling :(

Has anyone got experience to help me?
Thanks in advance,
Sarah

Hi there.  I can't be more relieved of your question.  I have the same thing and my surgery was 12/19, so I'm what...2 wks and 1 day today!

Has your nose narrowed?  I hope so!!

Hello,

I know these were posted roughly a year ago but I just got my splint off yesterday and my bridge is so so wide and hard so I can't tell if it's swelling or actual bone. Are you both happy with the results as a year has passed? Did you discover if it was just swelling? Should I be worried (sorry so many questions - freaking out a bit!)

Thank you!
