I am more than upset. I had my first nose work last Nov. with Dr. Copeland and it came out bad. I had a revision last Tuesday and the splint was off yesterday -- it is exactly the same problem as last time.
I chose Dr. Copeland because she is a board certified and she is said to be "the best female plastic surgeon in NYC", and somehow I believed that women know more about women, and that we can communicate more effectively -- turned out to be BS. She did not even listen to me! I told her at my second post-surgery visit that something was not right and she insisted that it was just a little swelling which will eventually go away. When I pointed out something wrong with the tip of my nose, she said the implant does not even go there, which she admitted that it does when there is nowhere to hide the problem. When this time after the revision, since there is less swelling than last time, the problem was clear once the splint was off. and she insisted that it is me who cause the problem because "somehow" I played with the implant! For God sake I did not even wash my face for a week and half this time!
And there is another thing that made me unhappy. She tried to talk me into another surgery when I decided to have the revision with her O_o
Once something goes wrong, it is the patient's fault. That is exactly what she shows.
Now I just wish I can go back to my original nose. It's destroying my life. Can anyone please give me some suggestion? I saw people recommending Dr. Phillip Miller. But is he good at revisions?
Thanks a bunch

I had the same experience with Copeland in Nov 2008! She keeps dodging any responsibility and just doesn't listen to anything said. I asked for something so minor: slightly soften the tip and straighten my septum. That's it. What I got?? Unbelievable. Go to Rhinoplasty4you and search for my username there "bangeline". See for yourself. She excessively over-shortened my nose and retracted my columella so it's up in my nose and my septum is still just as deviated and crooked. She also moved my nostrils which I didn't want!! She is such a bad doctor and tried to convince me it's nice.

Hey, sadnose. It feels so good knowing some else has the same experience. No offense:) So what did you do? I feel so bad now. I shouldn't have trusted her on the revision surgery. I should have gone to another doc for the revision. what did you do with your nose?
