it has been 2 years but suddenly I can feel the pin and it is painful
They can remove it. All implants can fail as most are not designed to replace the strength/support of your bones but merely provide the time/support needed for bone healing - basically a race against time. Myself included, we are not the most compliant to stay off the surgical repair until the bone heals first. But don't get me started on what Obama has done to our healthcare system forcing lesser cost implants to be used when creating socialized medicine. In Germany, for example, you can die and the most you can be paid on a legal claim is 50,000E because they don't want you suing the gov't managed health plan. This isn't for you necessarily as much as it is for all those that don't realize the quality of what we do here is significantly improved over the rest of the world's socialized programs.
