I'm 17 years old and am sexually active with my partner and we use condoms as protection. the day my period was supposed to come it did not and a few days later i had one drop of blood and the next day a brown substance and only a few drops of blood and this went on for 2-3 days. i am not trying to get pregnant and i am concerned about this because it has been a month and a half and still no period. can someone please tell me if this is a sign of pregnancy or ue to some other problem?
Well do you normally have regular periods? I say this because I never did so this doesn't seem out of the ordinary. If you do, then I would suggest a pregnancy test. It is called implantation bleeding. But there is a cathc, this normally happens when the egg gets fertilized and implants to your uteran wall. Your most fertile day is 14 days after the first day of your last period. So if you get your period on the 1st every month, you are most fertile on the 14th off the month. So in order for implantion bleeding to be occuring it would probably be before you are supposed to get your period. If yo are stressed out you can mess up your period. It is so sensitive. Little things can affect it and ruin your cycle. I know a lot of people that have freaked themselves out in school and they missed a period. But it doesn't hurt to take a test and find out for sure. :)
