I've read some thing bout it being related to pregnancy. But in my case its not possible, i'm still a virgin. But my period is acting weird. Normally i get a little red spotting before my period. Then after i get the brown spotting. But my period is acting as if i've already had it and its doing the after effects. I've had some symptoms like fatigue, and dull cramps. But I'm a few days late and I'm starting to get a bit worried.
Hello! If the brown spotting is observed 2-3 days before the normal menstrual period then it may be due to the old blood which may have taken time to come out of the vagina. Normally this appears as fresh red or pink blood. However, it can occasionally appear as brown which indicates it is old blood that has taken a while to come out of the uterus and through the cervix. So don't worry about it :-) Take care.
