I'm in denial about having herpes.. I am a 16 year old male that shaved his pubes, thought he had razor burn for two weeks, and then the bumps started to blister, and are red with a tiny hole in the middle. I am also scared I may have touched my eyes because my eyes are red and itchy, I also have allergies so I'm not sure. Can this all be coincidental or should I go get the checked out? The blisters do not ooze any pus etc. It isn't very painful, just had one sharp pain when I put a lot of pressure on it, which I think may have cause it to bust open if it is only razor burn.

Hi Dawg,

You likely have a severe case of folliculitis.  It's an infection of the hair follicles and is VERY COMMON after shaving.

Always use a CLEAN razor.

Since it has been two weeks and is blistering you NEED to see your doctor.  Folliculities is caused by a bacteria and, from your description, you'll need an antibiotic to treat it.  Warm compresses can help it drain too.

Good luck.

Go to the doctor, keep the area clean and your hands clean. Being in denial and worried won't help you out. Go get checked out to be safe. Wait too long it'll get worst
