I noticed about 2 weeks ago that I had painful blisters on the back of my tongue that burn when I eat or drink and they itch sometimes. I have searched the internet to find out if anyone else has the same problem and I can't find anyone. What does this mean? WIll it go away? Should I make an appointment to see my primary care physician?
Hi,
You probably have mouth ulcers but since you are having them for about 14 days I believe that your troubles are coming to the end. This is very contagious condition but you are probably aware of it if someone in your surroundings is suffering from the same problem you are the one who gets them infected.
The bad thing is that this condition likes to reoccur and if you want to prevent this you need to ask your doctor about some guidelines and tips. As far as I know improving your immune system is just one of the things you need to do. You can do this by adjusting your nutrition and by this I mean exchange junk and fatty foods for healthy foods which contains large amount of vitamins.
