i'm only 15 and a couple years ago i every now and then usually every other month get a burning stinging feeling everytime i pee, and i havent had sex or anything. help?
Well, 15 year-olds can catch a bacterial infection even if they haven’t had sexual experience. Most of the bacteria enters urino-genitary tract from gastrointestinal area. The transmission area is anus usually when we wipe from the bottom (anus) to the top (urethra). This way we bring bacteria along from anal area and because urethra is very short in female, bacteria easily reach the bladder.
Burning and stinging during urination is usually a side effect of bacterial infection.
It would be good if you spoke to your mother about it and saw an urologist to do some urinalyses and check for bacterial presence and get this cleared.
Bacteria can be nasty, so it would be wise do deal with them.
