Hi, im 69 years old and have diabetes type 2, and I woke up this morning and had a burning sensation in my lower back and waist. I am going to go to a doctor but wanted to know from other diabetics is it something to be afraid of and should I call my doctor immediately?
Thank you for the replies.

Hello there BarbaSS,
It has passed some time since you have been writing this post so now I am wondering if you have find out the reason of the burning sensation in your waist and lower back.
I presume that you had damaged nerve or something similar but now I am curios to find out how did you get it and what was the treatment option in your case.
Usually the antibiotics are prescribed but I am wondering if your doctor has prescribed you something else. I hope that you have resolved your problem easily and that your diabetes didn’t cause you any additional problems regarding this pain. Keep us posted about your condition.
