Subject says the majority of it. I have had a uti before and the doctor prescribed cipro for it and they said it came back which was the 2nd uti in which i was put on a longer duration of cipro for it. I am sexually active with my boyfriend, both of us are clean in the std area. This time the day after unprotected sex the burning urination started and urination more often than usual. Some discharge in a clear and yellowish coloration and some slight pain above the vaginal area near the waist.
During the previous 2 uti's i have had the burning urination, some discharge and some back and neck pains. This time the pain is different and the urination is more frequent than ever before. What could it be? If it is possibly another UTI why are they so frequent with me? This will be 3 in a matter 2 months. I dont know what to do or whats causing them. Any help is appreciated.

As for the STD's were you tested for Herpes? (Its not commonly tested for). Usually yellow watery discharge is associated with Herpes.
The probability is that you don't have herpes, but its worth noting.

If it is another UTI, the problem may be something unofficially known as "honeymoon cystitis"--wherein the woman's urethra is shorter than normal, and the friction during sex can cause bacteria to easily be pushed up into your urethra and cause an infection.
Talk to your doctor--if this is the case, he or she can simply prescribe a medication for you to take every time you have intercourse to prevent the infection from occurring again.

So I had a urine test done the other day, they want me to do another one because they said I am dehydrated and I have been taking azo pills for the urinary track pain and I guess that messed up the results a little so I have to do another one. What could the dehydration be a sign of? I drink plenty of liquids :-(
