Hey everybody, one possible cause of this could be Lyme disease, especially if you live in the country where it happened. It often causes gastric/nerve issues and commonly goes misdiagnosed, but a specific blood test can almost always detect it.

I am 21 years old female, I am experiencing exactly the same symptoms , whenever I feel lightheaded, I freak out, nd also because I am underweight ,I had the feeling of passing out during the episodes of lightheadedness , I literally have to stop everything nd treat my lightheadedness . Initially my bp used to remain quite low ,, I used to wake up as hypotensive,,I don't know if all these symptoms are indicative of Gerd or something else, I am really worried nd have got anxious reading the stuff on internet , I feel like I have got some autonomic disorder ,, I also feel numbness, on the entire left side and even on the right ,, but dis doesn't last the whole day ,, lately I have also experienced hypoglycaemic episodes at night,, I don't know if low bp and hypoglycaemia has anything to do with Gerd or they are indicating some serious disorder

I have symptons of stabbing in the upper back, the pain goes to the chest almost like I am having a heart attack. I went to emergency , had an EKG , Xrays and a CT scan . I was told nothing was wrong. My heart is ok , blood vessels ok , lungs ok. I burp like crazy. It is very stressful. I am afraid to eat in case the symptoms come back.

I have exactly the same thing and it caused a serious Heart attack (LAD 100% occlusion) at age 42. This was becaue of the tachicardia events which some here have described as sudden panick attack type of symptoms. I had one of these out of the blue while in bed. Heart rate shot up to 158, wouldnt come down despite me being nice and relaxed, calm and breathing calmly and slowly. then BAM! sudden chest pain as teh hypertension tore a clot from somewhere and it blocked my LAD.
Since then for the last 2 years I had constant chest pain, tachy events which sent me to A&E under blue lights more than a dozen times. Numbness and tingling in left thumb, 1st and 2nd fingers. Pain under left armpit, a weird skin burning sensation in left shoulder. All these are random and the most worrying is the chest pain but bizarely it goes immediatley when I burp.
I have had every test known to man through private medical. The NHS have been a total shower of s### with this including accusing me of being a drug addict!
Finally an MRI found severe stenosis in the nerve roots in my neck at C6/7 on the left and some stenosis on the right which also gives me a few symptoms occasionally. This was also found on a CT scan as were other spinal issues further down. The top of my cervical spine is also very unstable in general and this seems to be the cause of the tachicardia.
The solution for hand tingling is laminectomy to reduce pressure on the nerve roots. The chest pain may or may not be caused by this or by pressure on the spinal cord during flexing. Im having more CT scans to find out.
If you are not getting heart pattern changes I wouldnt panic. If you are then I would suggest looking very carefully at controlling your neck position especially when sleeping and minimising looking up or twisting your head as much as possible.
Dont get fobbed off by Dr's who will instantly blame this on reflex or a heart problem. Get them to check your neck!

It sounds like gerd or esophagitis. I have had like 4 ekg bro and they always comeback normal. I had a scope aswell and diagnosed with gerd and its scary cause the nerves in your esophagus can get irritated and cause pain in chest and sometimes arm.You might need to take prilosec, nexium ,or protonics all are proton inhibitors that control the acid in your stomache and stay away from coffee, chocolate, and spicy foods

This worked for me also. It took about 4 weeks to work, but now I have been a month with no symptoms. I had been fighting what everyone is talking about for 6 years.
