I just got a cortisone injection yesterday and my headache is unbelievable had to miss work today.this has never happen to me before.day two with headache.

Thank you, I had a knee injection yesterday and a few hours later developed a horrible headache and slight chills.I never get headaches so I on was able to connect the two quite quickly, I was questioning the anti- inflammatory I was given but after readg your a article I now know it was the injection. i did all things incorrect yesterday. Not enough water, no rest -hosted a party etc.alcohol and caffiene rest today and feel better !

I've had the knee shot and yes it's all related. My headache lasted a few days but faded off eventually and pain meds and advil didn't help much. I could even taste the steroid in my mouth for couple of days. Once it goes away it was well worth it.
I had the same thing. Headache, face on fire etc It sucks but it didn't last more than couple of days if that. I believe the face burning is a problem you may have already had with inflamed fibers in your body and face that you don't realize you have and the steroids made it worse with a headache on top of that I'm so sorry I know what that feels like I hope you feel better soon in fact I know you will
