I have tension headaches from time to time. When they happen, I cannot function normally at all, so in those moments I go to take toradol shots. In a few days, I am going to a cocktail organized by my company, and I guess I might drink a bit more than usually. Can I drink alcohol after the toradol shot?
I would not recommend you the combination of Toradol and alcohol. This drug belongs to a group of ant inflammatory non-steroidal meds. Its use is for no more than few days, because bad side effects show easily while taking this med for a long time. Alcohol, just as Toradol, destroys the mucus of the stomach, so this could lead to the bleeding of any part in digestive tract.
But an injection bypassess the stomach does it not?
