i penetrated my wife anal 3 weeks after c section, she had difficulty going to the loo
I had a c section on the 26th of Oct 2012. I went to my Dr. 8 days pp and he told me that if my husband and I wanted to have intercourse it was ok, but also told us to take it slow and if I feel any pain to stop.
He also told us to use a comdom to avoid infection and pregnancy.
I am personaly going to wait, sleep just seems more sexy right now.
Oh yah, he also told me that I could have a bath as long as the bath is clean and has no soaps or oils in it.
I dont think you can rely on what you read on the net or what people say as everyone is different.
Some women take longer to heal
Some women are sore for longer periods of time
I can go on
I would probley wait as long as possible. After surgery your intestines and bowels are sluggish and very sensitive, and you wouldn't want to a take chance irratating them. Vaginal is probley safer for that reason.
Don't be so self-rightous . . .
I know it is an old thread, but I am a new reader... I just had my son via C section after 50 hours of unsuccessful labor. So I was dilated and exhausted... My husband and I waited 2 weeks after my son was born to resume our sex life. Granted we had to be careful, but as long as you have stopped bleeding and feel ready the medical professionals generally agree that it is okay. My doc did recommend 6 weeks, but after the horrible swelling and general discomfort of the last 2 months of pregnancy, I was feeling fabulous 2 weeks after and my husband was thrilled to have his sexy wife back.
