So, here's the thing..
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for a couple weeks now.
Now, something has come up where it would be VERY helpful to know if I'm pregnant... but my period isnt due for over a week. I just want to know how soon I can tell. (How accurate would a pregnancy test be this soon??)
Any opinions or advice is appreciated

It's too soon. If you test now it will very likely show negative even if you are pregnant.
Testing when you're due is about the earliest you'd find out. More likely 7-10 days later.
Those "test a week before you're due" tests are extremely unreliable.
A blood test may detect it sooner.
