I am embarassed to admit this, but I could not remember whether or not I removed my tampon, so I tried to feel around and used a mirror to see if I could see anything. I cannot feel anything, but now I am worried that I may have a prolapsed bladder. It looks like a mass about the size of an apricot at the entrance of my vagina. Now I don't know whether I am imagining it or not, but it feels like the tampon is in there (still don't feel any cotton or string). I do have an overactive bladder and it has gotten much worse. I am calling my physician for an appointment tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has any insight. Thanks.

Could you give an update. I believe I have the same problem as both of you. In addition, I am bleeding past my tampons somehow and my pads and clothes are covered in blood and there is hardly anything on my tampon. I will have these accidents 5 minutes after returning from the bathroom, very embarassing. I've had this problem since I gave birth 2 1/2 years ago. I haven't seen an ob since then, but have made an appt for next month. I suspect a prolapsed uterus. Any information you can share will be helpful.
