So i used to masturbate frequently for 6 years, and i`ve now finally managed to stop it, and well erm :$ lets just say my semen and sperm levels and my scrotum ain`t what they used to be, and i`m dedicated to increasing/getting them back to how they were.
And i`ve reasontly taken up weightlifting and was wondering does Weightlifting affect your semen/sperm production levels, as i`ve been eating and drinking healthier, and they don`t feel as erm,, 8-| good as what they did a few days ago, could this be to do with me being hooked on lifting weights?

Excessive exercise may causes the blood diverting away from the reproductive organs as resulting of more energy require for burning. It normally happens to women, but sometimes it affects the men too, leading to low sperm quality and count.

Exercise and resistance exercise will increase testosterone and growth hormone levels which will in turn MIGHT increase sperm counts within semen. Exercise alone should have no bearing on the amount of ejaculate. Healthy diet, proper hydration and duration of sexual stimulation will have the biggest impact on the quantity of semen and intensity of ejaculation.

ok thanks Ninja1200, i ain`t all that bothered about how far i can shoot XD just want to get my semen/sperm back to how they was before i started masterbating.

Not true at least to me. I do slow and extreme fitness , mostly running, biking, crosstraining and I can say that wen I do heavy and fast exercise (about 150-160 bpm) 2 hours each day for 2 -3 days in a row, my semen decreases significantly. After I stop let's say for 2 days, it gets back to normal. Have no idea what is wrong. Hormone and blood tests show normal ranges for everything I could only do tests for.
