I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. I was very relieved however the negative line on the pregnancy test was just a faint pink but you can tell that it's clearly a negative line but it worries me. Is the line suppose to be a faint color? I want to be sure that I'm not pregnant so I thought about re-using it can I do that?
Hi PlanB,
No, you can't reuse the tests.
Often, the tests present as a "faint" line. It should be clear and defined. The tests don't indicate "how" pregnant you are. They look for the presence of a specific hormone, hCG. If it is there, you are pregnant and the line should show it.
You can always retest in a few days if you want. When you test, be sure to use only your wakeup urine for the best accuracy.
Hope it helps.
Thank you :) I think I was only worried because the line was softly shaded
