Of the 3 listed above, which is your preferred method to enter the swimming pool. When the goal is to get those that are in range nice and wet
My brothers seem to get the best splash with the can opener.
Let me add that this is off the garage roof into my parents pool. 8O

Belly flops are hurty!!

And just what the gee-golly is a can-opener?

Since you're a PA resident now, we don't say gee-golly.
Can opener is a variation of the cannoball except one leg is straight out and you bend and hold the other leg against your torso. For added effect stretching out at the end makes for a bigger splash.

Can Opener sounds like an accident involving landing arse-first. :umno:

Snork! I think the cannonball gets the most vertical distance on the splash, the can-opener gets horizontal distance and the belly flop does little but cause pain.

not that i've ever done one, but did you notice that a pefectly executed can opener has a sort of double syllable splash effect going on???

my vote for biggest splash would be the can opener. done correctly, it is the bomb of splashes (and fairly obnoxious too).

The can opener.

Although, I used to get a good splash from the "preacher".

I am in the process of teaching Michael the proper technique to getting those that are dry wet. My father taught me when I was five, so its only fitting that I continue to pass on the tradition of proper the splashing form. We have some work to do, but I figure he will have it down by the end of the summer

I like to make a big splash wherever I go. :wavey:

I like to do Cannonballs from up as high as possible. Makes a huge wave if you can get 7 or 8 feet off the water before Touchdown. Hurts a little, but it's worth it.
