Hi. I am 40 years old I just can't seem to stop bleeding. I am afraid to go in but thinking I will no choice. Now I useally get my period towards the 2nd week of the month. Well last month I have my period and after a week in a half I still had it.. It stopped for a day then came back and I had it everyday since. Its heavy with blood cloys. I just don't know what to do. I am getting weak and can't do anything or go anywhere cause I beed...I also have cramps only when I am pssing a bllod clot...So this is not normal cause my other peorids I had cramps really bad. I don't have pain this time. I am a barrel racer so did something tear up there from that? I know sex has not cause I have not had sex for at least three months!
I have the same problem. I will be 40 on Aug. 3rd and the last several months have been ok, but before that I had the same problem. I tried the Amberin which seemed to work for a couple of months, but here I am back again with the same problem. Three weeks standing, heavy clots and goes away for a day then back. I said I shall bleed to death soon at this rate because it is so very draining! I can't be on the pill or hormones because I smoke even though I am really trying to quit! Larger chance of stroke or other things...I think maybe a d&c may help, at least temporarily.
