Does anyone know if Carisoprodol can cause severe vision problems? My mom was prescribed Carisoprodol and became very ill. She claimed there was a strong chemical taste when she had the dry heaves. At this time she lost her vision and she was unable to focus on anything. She says if she stares at the TV hard, she see an image but it doesn't look exactly like it should. Is it from Carisoprodol?
I can understand your mother gagging on the taste of Carisoprodol. It has a real strong taste to them. My eye sight has diminished, but not all of a sudden, mine was a slow process. I think she should go to another MD. Is she a diabetic, by chance or ever been tested? I can’t think of anything what would cause that to happen. See if you can find an eye specialist.
