Hello. I'm 20 years old female and I'm fighting a real battle with my premenstrual syndrome. I don’t know how to describe all this but it has been a real nightmare.
I have never heard that menstrual period could so much change a person. Beside the strong cramps in my lower abdomen, I'm also experiencing problems with my mood, depression, skin acne and these frequent genital infections.
A friend told me that all this is caused by some hormone changing and I would like to find out more about it!
Please help me!

I'm very sorry that you're experiencing so many problems with your PMS but I don’t even need to tell you that you're not alone. Every woman fights the same battle.
Your friend told you right.
Although the exact cause of premenstrual syndrome is still unknown, it seems to occur because of changing hormone levels.
Hormone called progesterone is rising in your blood before your menstruation and then just before the bleeding it drops.
Many doctors think that this is the cause of all these problems associated with menstruation. It makes you even more susceptible on all kinds of infections! I've heard that birth control pills can relieve these symptoms!
