My husband is 73 years. He is in good health and very active. He does have COPD but is on meds for that. He takes heart meds. Lately he has been having what he describes as a vibrating feeling on the left side of his chest area. He says it feels like a vibrating cell phone. What can it be and should I get him to a Dr? It has happened twice in the last 2 hours.

Since you and your husband have been taking good care about his health all this time I would suggest visiting the doctor as soon as possible. Maybe this is just some temporary sensation that will go away and never come back but since he has been diagnosed with COPD it would be best to consult your doctor to make sure that everything is ok.
When it comes to the heart sometimes it is possible that some other condition is bothering us, for example heartburn, but we are all so scared of the heart attack that we presume at once that something isn’t fine with our heart. I hope that your husband will check this and that he will be fine.
