A.) Anyone listening to this bambi girl, don't. She doesn't know what she's talking about, she mentions the scriptures like they're a robert jordan novel instead of words written by PROPHETS of the lord.
B.) Masturbation is wrong, it is a sin. Even if what she says is true and has nothing to do with lust but is something that's natural then even then IT'S A SIN, as we learn in the scriptures Natural Man is an enemy of god, this is because natural man takes part in worldly things such as masturbation, and no man captured by the world may inherit the kingdom of god. Your body is a temple as we learn, it is not your body but the lords think of it as a rental as we go through our trial of life in preperation for our eternal happiness.

But don't take my word for it, or anyone elses, the only person you should believe is your heavenly father, ask of him and all shall be opened unto you as we learn in john. Ask God what is the right thing but listen so you don't misinterpret what you wanna hear for what he's telling you.

If you want to fix masturbation simply talk to your local church leaders and have them help you. Masturbation is part of fornication (which IS in the bible) and is a major sin, second only to murder and denying the holy ghost, confess your sins and seek help from your elders.

God bless you.

Fornication is bad yes if your like sleeping with different people. But is it then true that those that do will go to hell then? Will there be a way for them to end up in heaven? Especially if they helped people through life since 6 years old...

Of course all you have to do is ask for fogiveness... Jesus Christ died for our sins, he was the last great sacrafice and the mediator between us and our heavenly father as long as you understand what you have done is wrong and decide to live the commandments (not the ten commandments but the new ones also) then you will be forgiven, simply talk with your heavnley father about it, if you simply speak to him all will be made clear.

It's natural to masturbate, but that doesn't mean its ok. Ask yourself the question how did I feel at first, i'll admit i've masturbated before for a long time, and the first time many a year ago before i even knew what sex was OR masturbation for that fact I felt bad afterwards... now why is it that something I don't even know what is, bad OR good and I feel horrible afterwards, because the spirit spoke to my heart and i knew what id done was bad, now we trick ourselves into thinking it's ok because the word Masturbation wasn't used in the bible it's all ok, that must not be what they meant. You are simply looking for something to justify your actions which is NATURAL. The words oral sex, or anal sex aren't in there either does that mean it's ok to perform those before marriage. I don't think so, the bible was written thousands and thousands of years ago, I very much doubt the words they used are the same as the ones used today. Ask of god.

I think god already answered my prayer, I've lost my libido. So I guess I'm quite happy that happened... Actaully totally relieved.

I am quite sorry that happened, because although masturbation, pornography, premarital sex, etc is bad, sex is a great thing in gods eyes between a man and woman in the bonds of marriage. Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise I am not very familiar with it.

If you can think of Jesus and do IT, i say it is not a sin. Stop LYING to innocent people and instead help guide them to stop their obsessions. Listen Guys, dont ever give in the fact that it is NOT a SIN, continue trying to stop masturbating and focus on going out having fun in other methods. Tell the devil that he is a liar and rebuke him in the name of Jesus. Let him know that I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me. Get up from that chair and praise the Lord for giving you the strength to walk away from it. Go for a walk, call a friend, help out your parents, clean your room or lead someone to Christ. Spend some time with the Lord. God wants to have a relationship with you. Read your bible. If you do not have one then read your parents bible. If they do not have one, there are online bibles that you can read on your computer. I'm sure there are other ways that you can use your time other than sitting at the computer masturbating. Life is to short go out there and enjoy it.

I read all of this and I can't help but to think how ridiculous all of this is. HAVE WE FORGOTTEN THE GOSPEL!?!? Is it natural to masturbate? yes. But if you can tell me that you can masturbate without any thoughts on people or body parts (just straight jerking it), then you are a fool. Something has to be an object of lust to push someone to climax. And because of that object of lust is why it is not good. This is a huge huge issue, but really simple at the same time. But a bit of background first

I'm 23 and I committed my life to Christ just a few years ago, and really dug into theology and studying everything about it...really caught on fire. However, when I came to Christ I had a lot of baggage. I've done a lot of bad things in my life before hand and addicted to things like porn and sex too. This caused me to hurt and feel so guilty about what I've done and continued to do. Moving forward, I tried going cold turkey and just stopping (cause you know it sounds so easy)...but that was a huge failure. Tried covering it up...nope didn't work just more guilt. Then I came across something interesting through the book of Galatians. If you haven't read it please do it's fantastic.

The whole book is about how Paul set up a church there, preaching the Gospel, but after he left false apostles came in and started preaching a false Gospel. Now we, as Christians, know that God sent his only Son down to us. To live among us, grow, and then ultimately die for our sins. To be the sacrifice for everyones sins. Raising three days later to fulfill and complete the prophecies. This is what was preached first. Then these people came in and started preaching that the Law is the most important (think Jewish religion). That it is the Law that justifies man. This is dead wrong. And this is not too different than what we hear today, especially through the Catholic church. If an act can justify men before God, then what was the point of Jesus being hung on the cross? If the Law justifies, then how then can no one live up to the standards? Because it doesn't! We need something bigger than that. We need something bigger than sin. This is why God sent Jesus to us. Jesus is the one who washes you clean and justifies you. Belief in him will result in the forgiveness of sins. The only thing that belief in the Law will bring is guilt, depression, and a feeling of being separated from God.

Now, does this mean that the Law is useless? By no means! The Law is merely a mirror to show us our depravity. It belongs in the realm of our daily life. It is supposed to guide us to righteous living. How we should conduct ourselves before we sin. While going through daily life if you're not sure if something is right or wrong, or need to hear it again then consult the law. If you do sin against the Law and God, do not let it seep into your conscience. The Law does not belong there. If your actions causes a heavy weight on your heart, then it is doing its job as sin by separating you and God further and further apart. This is where you need to remember the Gospel and what God and Jesus has done for us. The Grace and Peace that has been set before us as a free gift to everyone.

This does not mean that you can go around doing whatever you want because of a free conscience. You still have to show self control and righteous living. We have to strive to be more and more to be like Jesus everyday. As for me after learning this. I felt so free. So free that it actually pushes me to be better and to do the right thing. I can't say that I'm perfect though. I went from masturbating to porn a couple of times a day to just a few times a month. Now I'm in a relationship that is free of carnal acts. Huge steps in the right direction.

Back to what I meant in the opening. This seems so big, so deep, and so dark that there is no way out. It just seems huge, but when you can really grasp what the purpose of the Law is and really grasp Grace from God, this is so simple. I do still let sin creep in sometimes, so even I do not have a perfect grasp on all of this, but it has helped a ton.

Have Hope! Hope that there is a way out. Hope in Jesus and his forgiveness of your sins. Because if you don't have hope than you have nothing.. Someone loves you and is willing to help. Share your burdens. More importantly God loves you and is willing to work with you on this.

Much Love,
Sean

p.s.
Bambi,
If you disagree, I would love to talk to you more about this.

Read 1 John 2:16. “everything that belongs to the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and pride in one’s lifestyle - is not from the Father but is from the world.” (NASB)
This verse makes it clear that sexual lust is not godly. Do you feel lust when you masturbate? If you’re honest, youll say yes. Then it is clear that it is not right. The more you feed lust, the more it grows - just like a fire.
I never felt guilty doing it before I was saved. Since I was saved, God has lifted the burden of an out of control sex drive from my shoulders. I don’t feel guilty about the idea of doing it now, either. But I don’t want to fill my mind with lust either. Thats why I avoid it.
To everyone who says it’s normal and can’t be avoided - everything is possible with the help of the Lord.
If you are resisting temptation but stumble, get back up and keep fighting. There is no reason to give up to the flesh.
And for all you Christians who are saying it’s ok: read 1 John 2:3-5. Plenty of people say they are Christians. But those who are not following the Lord’s commands don’t know the Lord. You aren’t a follower of Jesus if you refuse to obey because it’s not convenient or your body wants something else. I pray that you all will resist lust and ask the Lord to help you with it.
I don’t judge anyone for sinning. Believe me, I was deeply sinful before, and I needed love not judgment. But don’t lie to yourselves either. Giving yourselves over to lust is wrong and damaging.
