i recently got perscribed co-amoxiclav to treat a post-tonsilectomy infection. i developed severe diarreah whilst taking it . is that normal?

Co-amoxiclav is an antibiotic. Many antibiotics can cause gastrointestinal problems.
Severe diarrhea is a listed side effect. If you notice blood and mucous, contact your physician as soon as possible.
