I am so worried about my sister, she has been taking co-codomal now for over 6 years to my knowledge.  She takes up to 4 at a time and even buys them ( although a lesser dose) from the chemist if she runs out.

She started to take these after being diagnosed with sponalitous but now takes them ALL the time.

She does not sleep properly and looks very ill .   Her teeth have fallen out and she always complains of a sore stomach. Her hair has gone very thin and she has a red flushed complection.

Her doctor has tried to get her to reduce them , but she gets very angry with her and just blames her for putting her on them in the first place.

I have tried everything i know to get her to see the damage that i feel she is doing, or to to get her to reduce them but she says she NEEDS them.

I dont think that her body can take it.

DO NOT take the Sub's until you've been off of the methadone for at LEAST 4 days! You will feel like horrible death by then but unless you want to experience literal HELL don't take the Subs until you are well into your methadone withdrawal. I have been through that exact situation and took a guided tour of the lower bowels of hell! Taking Subs before you are well into withdrawals will cause a Precipitated Withdrawal. Sub's are so powerful they will substitute all of the opiates on your receptors, the subs will kick them out which will immediately put you into precipitated withdrawals which are 10x's worse than the withdrawals you'll feel on day 4. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take my advice on this. I'm not sure about the seraquel however, I don't think it's an opiate so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Also, DON'T take ANY opiates while on Subs they will not work. Send me a private message if you have any other questions, I've been through what you're going through. In fact I'm on hour 54 of stopping Subutex altogether and I'm experiencing withdrawals myself from only .5 mgs of Subutex...ugh...I'm right there with you. Hope to hear from you, and hang in there!

The problem with co-codamol is the parecetamol your taking and this is whats really making her ill i suspect, she will need these tablets due to the addiction to codeine and probabbly need to take them every 5-7hrs just to stop herself from getting sick. Her doctor should most certainly give her something without the paracetamol in as this damages your kidneys when taking too much so taking anymore than 8 in one day is bad news and even 8 a day is too much if you ask me, the codeine will do no harm to your body but of course it is addictive but she really needs to get something whcih does not contain paracetamol, this could be causing longterm damage, maybe get some references from google about the dangers of taking too much paracetamol and present it to the doctor and see if they will give her some codeine phosphate/tartrate or dihydrocodeine instead. Good luck
