I had collapsed vein during anestetic iv during surgery. My arm became very painful before I went all the way under. The medizine went into my arm instead of vein. What happens to the medisine that went into my arm? The surgin had to get another IV going and continued surgery after that. My arm is still swollen and it feels like I still have the medisine in my arm
