Users comments and reviews on article Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD): Emotional Dysregulation by SirGan
Very informative. May be the key that I need. Unsure on how to use this information. Leaves me with the question here do I go from here? Who can I discuss this with?

I heard very much so that DBT would work best with this. I hadn't even heard about this until a couple years ago and I think a lot of people are ignorant of it so I'm so glad to see that you've posted on this because I think people should know about it. I think it's possible that everyone out there knows someone with BPD but I don't think they know quite how to handle them. I think that this article should really help!

Sure seems to match the issues of a long time 'friend' I finally let go of. Sad, but very damaging to those around them.

we're having a hard time diagnosing my son who has severe tantrums over the smallest of things. he is not autistic or bipolar. the best diagnosis we have thus far is PDD-NOS and SPD. i just need more info because nothing seems to fit him entirely. He shares many symptons with AS, but is too social to be AS. When he is not having a temper tantrum, where he will knock over tables and chairs, rip papers, hiss and growl, urinate and use fowl language, he is incredibly charming, loving, affectionate, witty, playful and extremely smart, superior in school benchmark testing. Sometimes he tells me his head hurts after his explosions.
