"In general, males have better spatial and math skills than females."
The reason for that is not natural predisposition, but rather social stereotypes.

yikes!!! a few statements do seem very sexist... for example "Men are over 30% stronger than women, especially in the upper body. Although many feminists cannot face this fact, females simply do not have the strength or endurance necessary to be, for example, effective combat soldiers." whats up with the last bit of that statement???

The fact that men have more upper body strength, more muscle mass, and are physically stronder and more fitted for combat is just the truth. It doesn't say anything about the "worth" of men and women----just facts.
If someone broke into my house, we would have a better chance if my husband defended us than if I defended our family.
What's the problem? Men and women are different.

What does this mean? You need both halves to make a whole. When one gender says they don't need the other or is better than the other, they're missing the point. Both genders have strengths and weaknesses due to the evolutionary niches each has needed to fill. This has bled through even to today. In art, woman are better at color theory, where as men are better at spatial realism. I faced this myself in college. The males, like myself, where better at drawing anatomy, and sculpture. Female students were better at painting classes and design. In the animation classes, it was even more pronounced. Female students were better at scenery and lighting, and animating humanoid figures, where as the males where better at layouts, character design, special effects, programming and scripting, and character rigging. This always happened naturally, every time I observed new applicants coming into the design programs.

People, the author never meant to offend anyone. It was just an attempt (a very fine attempt I might add) to write an unbiased article about the physical differences between men and women. The author wasn't saying that one gender is superior to the other. If you're offended, you're immature, bottom line. Try to look past your offense and learn something from this article. The author brought up some very good, and factual, points. Although, the reason why I wrote this response is because I'm not so sure how accurate the last point is. I was under the impression that because the human eye of females have more cones and the human eye of males have more rods, that males have better night vision and females have better color perception. I found this statement,"The rods are more numerous of the photoreceptors, some 120 million, and are the more sensitive than the cones. However, they are not sensitive to color." on this site, ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed." If anyone can "shed some light" :D on the subject, I would greatly appreciate it!

This information is very helpful, as I am writing an essay on how we define someone as male or female, masculine or feminine! The physiological aspects are very straight to the point and factual :-)
