Users comments and reviews on article Elevated Hemoglobin: Risks & Symptoms by SirGan

Interesting info. My dad was recently told that he had high/elevated hemoglobin, and was quite concerned when he found out because it can sometimes indicate some very serious medical problems! The most likely cause is that he is a smoker and has been for over 20 years, though. He's now thinking about quitting, finally, so the elevated hemoglobin was a good wake up call for him. He was still left with questions, so I will show him your article and he might learn something new.

By the way, how soon after quitting smoking should hemoglobin levels return to normal? Thanks!
