Have your serum calcium checked. I had the same "GI" issues and found out I had a parathyoid adenoma (tumor- almost never ever cancer, just causes a ton of problems). You'd be surprised what happens in your body when one of your parathyroids goes wonky. It can be VERY serious if left too long so check it out:  ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** web addresses not allowed***

head ache, and lost 10 pounds down to 100 . went to the ER for chills, fever headache and abdomen discomfort Had ultra sound, cat scan, and bloodwork all negative h plylor negative and ovarian cyst negative ! Everything was fine..so referred to
endoscopy/colonscopy Also saw chinese med dr. said I had a mild infection and put me on herbs, and told me to eat foods easy to digest rice and soup which helped so much. My Chiropractor gave me light wave and suggested colonics which have helped tons. Anyhow this is such a time consuming deal I'm now at the six month point no answers. .

Redundant colon causes these problems. Especially after hysterectomy. I have the same problems. Drs. are in denial that they cause the problem! :(

I have the same symptoms and am trying an elimination diet, you guys should google it, as it may help to identify any foods you are not tolerating. I recommend eliminating yeast, gluten, and dairy as these foods often cause bloating for people who can't digest them well. Keep a food diary and track reactions to food once you start to reintroduce them into your diet one by one

Did you ever get a response or find out what was wrong? I have the same symptoms went for endoscopy and they said I might have a bacteria in my stomach and they did a biopsy. I am still waiting for the results. The doc did not say what the bacteria might be but my internet research turned up H. Pylori. I had a blood test but it came back negative for bacteria. I am praying I have the bacteria because it is treatable with antiobiotics and would resolve so many of my issues (bloating, gas, weight gain can't lose weight no matter what I eat or exercise, dizziness, sometimes short of breath, nauseua and a pain just below the rib cage in the center). Just curious if you ever figured it out.

Jen, you are the first one I read that included shortness of breath in their description of symptoms. Your symptoms are very similar to mine, minus the pain below the rib cage. It has only been 2 weeks, but I know something is wrong, so I'm just beginning my quest for answers. I have an appt with my gyn and blood work next week. Have you found anything else out?

Go to a Gastroenterologist. I had the same problems and way more than that and they did every test in the book. They finally did a Hida Scan and found my gallbladder was not working. I had gallbladder surgery within a week because I was also having jaundice, blood breakouts, etc. The surgeon found one huge gallstone that had been also blocking the liver ducts every now and then which also hurt the liver. I did have the terrible bloating the more I ate throughout the day, the chills and fever, etc.

I would do what the others have suggested plus look into leaky gut syndrome. Dr. Oz had a show on the issue and there is a test you can take that will tell you if you have it.

I am experincing all of the same symtoms as the 37 year old above. this has been an ongoing occurrance for like 2 years! i am miserably bloated all the time! i am never hungry though i will eat anyway. my face will itch so bad across my nose and cheeks its not even funny. something ive noticed is that if i eat like flour tortillas a day or 2 later the ungodly itch. its almost unbearable. Topical steroid creams help temporarily. I have psorisis already but the past 2 summers i have developed hives on my arms or legs anything exposed. I lean towards an allergy of some kind because my face would get blisters on my nose with certain meds. now i get this face rash that so metimes feels like the meds allergy but it also gets heat in it.The stomach, nusea, bloating, discomfort, sometimes abdomen and lower back pain, lack of appetite, feeling full with just a few bites, no desire for food, constant rash & hives, fatigue, irritable because its been so long since i felt normal, oh and a continued urinary tract infection this whole past year, NOONE LISTENS TO ME!t.

I had these same issues, exactly. It was Gluten. None of my doctors...gyno, endo, gen phys, could figure out what was wrong, had a colonoscopy, bloodwork...nothing wrong....so they said. I went online and found a direct connection to my symptoms and Gluten intolerance. ONce I got gluten out of my food, I felt so much better. I believe it was literally killing me. You got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Check it out! Google "gluten intolerance symptoms". Good luck
