Continous bleeding after insertion of MIRENA

Not sure if this would help but I recently had my Mirena IUD taken out. I never bleed at the start but 6 months into it I bleed out of no where. I bleed for almost 4 weeks. They told me everything was fine and I was ok. Then 2 mnths later it happend again but this time it was heavy. The doctor told me that it was trying to get use to my body but to be honest something was wrong. They ended up doing a ultrasound and found that I had a small cyst on my ovaries. I had never had them before. I believe the mirena cause it. So I had them take it out. On top of that my boyfriend had painful sex with me cause he always felt something sharp. Which the doctor said was the strings. Hope this helped. All in all I did not like the Mirena and it cause problems for me. Good luck with the iud.

hi had mirena fitted in january after was in agony could hardly move very heavy periods !! lasted till april ! then thankfully stoopped but only for 4 days ! night mare...
now i have constant bleeding can vary from day to day from
spotting to like a period !! nearly constant bleeding since january thinking bout removal but i go on holiday in a week ! dont wanty to have worse bleeding then ?? HELP
my sister in law has it in also and has no periods or spotting or pain ?? wish i hadnt got it in first place !!
