I have been on continuous birth control for almost a year now. I am using Yaz as the birth control. After three months, I started taking the sugar pills. I did not get my period. I freaked out and took the 8 sugar pills I had skipped over the 3 months along with the other 4. Still I did not get my period. I took a home pregnancy test and it came back negative. My fiancée says that I am freaking out for nothing. But I feel like I should have gotten my period when I took the sugar pills. I started doing the continuous because my doctor said that it can help with endometriosis so I would rather stay on continuous birth control and prevent it from becoming a larger issue for me. I just want to make sure that this is somewhat normal. Thank you!
Hi! I am currently on Yaz and have experienced the same thing. I took two pregnancy tests and they both came out negative. I don't know about you but I also got some of the signs of pregnancy such as headaches, nausea, spotting, fatigue and mood swings. Did you experience this too because I am quite worried myself.
