I have the contraceptive implant in my arm for 18 months now,
and this weekend i was out with my boyfriend shopping and i get such painfull shoulders and i dont understand why i couldnt put them down straight or it hurt so badly

then started to feel sick, get stabbing pains in my stomach and back sometimes it just feels like cramp other times ive stabbing pains,
i feel this mostly sore on my left side of my stomach but it travels side to side.

The pain in my back and sides are really sore to, light cramping with stabbing pains.

I have sever headaches or my head just feels sore constantly but lightly, its the actual full of my head thats in pain to the back of my hair , above my eyes, and the side of my head on both sides. sore to actually concentrate.

I still have sore shoulders, and i havnt done anything to get them at all, and my muscles ache a little for no reason like in my arms and in my legs and i feel sick alot on and off,

I dont think i could be pregnant but i dont know what else could be wrong with me ive felt like this for 4 days staight now and ive also been constipated but i get this alot since i got the implant put inside my arm,

my boobs are also getting pains thru them but my sore head is getting beyond a joke hard to sleep at night because its there

anyone know what this may be or experanced this?
Hello, I'm not trying to scare you, but don't rule out pregnancy! I was on DEPO and had the same exact thing happen to me...minus the shoulder pain. But the bad headaches, moderate cramps, pain on my right side and some time I thought one of my ovaries was going to just burst, but also I was dizzy, and bright lights just killed me, my boobs felt as if a steam roller had bruised them. No morning sickness tho, bonus! And I finally broke down and went to see the doctor, who indeed verified I was pregnant, 7.5 weeks! So Shocking!!! It turns out that the DEPO shot I got was not as high in strength as it normally was. Hey you may just be that .01% that get's pregnant while having the implants!
On the other hand, your body may be rejecting your implants...it's been known to happen, but usually within the first 6 months of getting them.
Is there any bruising, swelling or irratation around the site of your implants? Hot to the touch? If yes, I'd suggest getting them removed.
Hope this helps, take care!
