Did your GP ask you why you thought you might be addicted? if you been on them for any long amount of time I would bet that you are addicted. And why are you on them? do you still need them? maybe you should talk to her about tapering off? of fixing the problem that you are taking them for. And two things, certainly I wouldnt be selling them, first if you need them, you will be in a bind if you sell them. And second, in america, if caught selling narcotics, you are put in jail, so you not only get a record but you also get a very quick detox in jail. Not sure if that is the way you want to go? if you search the internet, there are some good outlines on how to detox safely by yourself at home. But it sounds like you might want to get your dr involved. you just need to make her see that you really are having an issues.
