This is just some advice for anyone who is having problems with their gums. It's a bit late for me but I have discovered that swishing my mouth with COQ10 has tightened my gums and closed the pockets up. I was taking COQ10 for heart health anyway-strengthens the heart, more oxygen, etc. Then I read about how COQ10 on the gums helps with gum health. It is in many natural toothpastes. It really works. My dentist was blown away when he saw how healthy my gums were and how there were NO pockets. :D
Thank you so much for your testimonial. I too am a long-time CoQ10 enthusiast, currently taking 400mg a day. What you had described is new to me. I have been chewing sugarless gums that contain xylitol for quite a while. That too helps make my gum healthy.

You are right about the gum.; I always was told it was not good to chew gum but have found that chewing it increases the saliva in your mouth. Having a dry mouth creates a good environment for cavities.
I started giving the COQ10 to my mother because she has Congestive Heart Failure. It has strengthened her heart. I can tell because she has more energy and doesn't get out of breath like she used to. I decided to start taking it too. I have learned alot about supplements, nutrition, etc on a website called . It stands for life extension. Check it out. That's where I read about the COQ10 and gums. :D
