THis is a double/cross post so here is my copied answer......

I suppose since this is a way old post.. and it was posted by a guest.. they already know what happened... but for arguments sake and in case someone runs into this post....

When taking the Plan B or morning after pill... follw the package directions carefully.. 1st pill within 72 hours after unprotected sex... the sooner you take it the better chanse of success. Then exactly 12 hours after that first dose.. take the second one.

I would never suggest or risk having unprotected sex after takign the pill or during... if you are taking it in the first place you obviously do not want to have a baby so STOP HAVING UNPROTECTED SEX!!!

PLanB/morning after pill is not the abortion pill.. will not terminate a pregnancy but does do the following... prevents the release of the egg (ovulation) prevents fertilization and prevents implantation of the fertilized egg.

Side effects with Plan B® include nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, menstrual changes, dizziness, breast tenderness, vomiting, and diarrhea. Menstrual bleeding may be heavier or lighter, earlier or later after taking Plan B®.

PLan B is also not a real form of permanent birth control.. so it is advisable that IF you need plan B it may be a great idea to think about getting on a form of real birthcontrol.
