Hello, folks. I suffer from chronic back pain and my doctor suggested I should try hydrotherapy. It might work in my case, at least he says so. However, I would like to know whether I could develop dermatitis from this kind of treatment. What do you know about that? Thanks for replying.
Hello. Swimming in a pool for hydrotherapy can cause dermatitis. Additives in water like essential oils or chlorine can irritate skin. Some people can develop dermatitis from BCDMH. It is a substance that is used for pool disinfection. If you have tendency for developing dermatitis, you should be careful. Consult with dermatologist about this. I hope everything will be all right. I hope I've helped. Bye!
