Im 12 almost 13 and I've never had my period. Lately for the past month I've been getting a brown discharge. It's not chunky or anything just a normal brown discharge. It's not a lot but im wondering if its my period? I talked to my friend about it and she told me that happend to her and it turned out that was the color of her period blood. I dont have any symptoms of my period like being moody , stomache pains, ect. Could it just be normal brown discharge getting ready for my first period? Should i tell my mom or older sisters? I'm not sure what to do
This is perfectly normal I am 13 and I get it all the time before periods. When I got my first one I had it, my mom is a nurse and she told me it was basically your bodies way of readying itself for a menstrual cycle.
