hello, my 12 year old son has been Dx with CRMO by MRI. All blood tests were normal (mild iron deficient anemia). Normal CRP. The doctor put him on Indomethacin 75 mg a day and ordered calprotectin to check for possible CRMO since he has been having very vague GI issues. His calprotectin came back elevated as 300, I don't know what to make out of it. I put him on gf and dairy free diet and his GI issues are gone. I am thinking that maybe Indomethacin has elevated that number? Anyone has experience with that? Or maybe if you have CRMO the number is elevated? I also took him off Indomethacin and give him Advil daily (once a day). It keeps him symptom free. I don't understand why I need to give him stronger pain killers if Advil controls it?
