I was wondering if anyone who has been diagnosed with MDDS but went into remission has cruised again?
In January I returned from a 10 day cruise from NYC to the caribbean in very rough seas. 21 hours after disembarking the symptoms started. I was diagnosed quickly.My docotor had seen other patients with this issue so knew what he needed to do to get me diagnosed. i was prescribed Ativan and took a half pill twice so far.lately i have been alot better.I have been going out to grocery stores,mall and other places that are busy and noisy.I saw my doctor today and asked him what he thought about me going on a 2 day cruise from Miami to the Bahamas in October.He said he doesn't see a problem since I am almost''normal'' again.

I have wondered this as well. I too have suffered from this spontaneous onset I have never cruised but I really want to and am deathly afraid of making it worse. Did you ever go?
