I have been riding a bike for a while. I have started to experience pain in my knees. I read somewhere that some techniques are bad for knees. Is that true? If so which are particularly dangerous? Are there any that are safe? How can I keep cycling while preserving my knees?
Inappropriate position and saddle height as well as frame size are among the most frequent reasons for experiencing knee pains. You know what they say: “Choose your weapons wisely”. Your bike is your weapon so you should pay attention to the frame size and other important factors when buying the bicycle. Talk to some experienced coach and if your bike proves to be inadequate I suggest you sell it and purchase a new one.
