Now, after 3 yrs, it's back!! We tried strong antibiotics 2x but they didnt work. My Gyno said to only come back if it gets as bad as it was the 1st time. Im afraid of letting it go until that point though because I was unable to walk or move. I basically had to be carried into the ambulance, after my husband found me doubled over on our bathroom floor screaming in pain, unable to walk...not knowing what was wrong with me at that point, he called 911. I dont want to go thru that same tramatic situation. Im planning on dealing with this head on next month with another surgery. If anyone out there has better advice, please let me know. Also, is it better to see a Cliteral Specialist or just my regular Gyno that preformed the surgery the 1st time? I am scared but I have no choice, surgery is the only answer. :'(
Go get help honey. Those Doctors see things like this all the time. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. I remember when I was 15 & my 1st time to the gyno I was so embarrassed - a virgin - didn't want anyone looking down there...that's a normal feeling but this needs looked at. It sounds similair to what I had. I had a clitoral cyst that I needed surgery on (2x) to remove it. I will tell you this...if you do not get seen soon that small bump will turn into a large one & you will be rushed to the ER!! Trust me. I ended up calling 911 for mine, before Drs knew what it was, they sent me home in pain that I could not stand any longer. They finally discovered it was a staff-infected cyst inside my clitoral duct. Please get help now before the pain gets so bad you can't stand it. It's more embarrassing to wait & have to call 911 and tell the netire ambulance crew the problem. PS: If that happens, tell them you need to speak with a woman alone & it is personal. Comment back if you need to talk, you are not alone.

I made a mistake, it is ALUM, not gypsum. Please use ALUM in the prior message that I wrote and used the word gypsum there. It is ALUM not gypsum. use alum and salt, bring it to a boil then apply it. remember ALUM, not gypsum .
below is the message i posted earlier but have it corrected. I used alum, which is correct and deleted where i have put gypsum, I remembered the wrong name of the element earlier that is why. So, the correct item is alum, not gypsum.
This advice was given from my uncle to help alleviate the pain from this. Boil drinking water, put some salt in it, and put alum in it to boil. alum is normamally sold in oriental stores. It comes in like one huge chunk of clear see thru rock. cut the alum open from its bag and rinse it, then put it into the boiling water along with the salt when it is boiling. He said to do it like this bring it to a boil then let it cool off a little bit and pour it in a basket, bucket or pail, as along as it is in something that you can soak your bottoms in their. I did not want to soak my bottoms. So, I only used about one or half of one cup of water and use about one table spoon of salt, then after rinsing the alum, I put the alum in the boiling water. Since I only used about one or half cup of water, i did not let the alum melt completely the whole chunk of it. I let it melt the gypsum until i see it in in proportionate with the amount of salt I use, can use alum a little bit more than salt. Once I see the alum has melt enough to the desired amount i think is good enough. take a metal spoon and extract the remaining chunk of gypsum that has not melt ( the chunk) and save it for later or next day use. After it is boiling to a good rate, I turned off the fire and let it cool a little bit, and use cotton balls, dip it into the mixed solution and apply it on cyst area on the clitoris. It is really good for it, it reduces my pain drastically and i can walk much better. The swelling decreased, and it is not as painful to touch toilet paper the next day when I wake up after doing that procedure last night. Actually, the next morning i see it has and opening, I guessed it is creating a soft spot naturally and not as painfully for that puss in there, I guess eventually my mother has to squeeze the puss in there out for me, but not now, it is not ripened or soft enough. But, totally, keep dipping that cotton ball in that cooked solution and apply it on the area, hold each cottonball in place there for about one or two minute then throw that cottonball away and use another cottonball, repeat this untill the solution is finished. It helps tremendously, I have taken the yeast pill perscribed by my doctor and it is not going away or doing anything to help the pain. But, this process above that i mentioned is a highly recommend for those in pain, i know, I was there. This is a solution to the pain and it works for me. I don't guaranteed nor or responsible if the results could be repeated on someone else that does not produce the results like it did for me. but, i just want to put it out there for those who are in desperate pain and would try something to help it. mom was too afraid of me going into surgery so we asked family members, and this tip was shared to us.
This is Jenny. Use alum and salt, and water, bring it to a boil. Let it cool a little then apply on that area. I did it for two days straight and the third day it is gone. no more cyst on my clitoris and no more pain
This ridiculous woman gave me a prescription for a topical anti-inflammatory to "get me by" - but she's expecting my blood tests to come back positive for Herpes. What a jerk. Thanks to everyone who shared their stories; you're certainly not alone and it seems sometimes we've just got to trust our own instincts and the experiences of others to get through things like this. Too bad I wasted $30 on a copay...
Im a little late on this. But ive been searching a bunch of things about these cysts being on my clitoris. ive just noticed that I have one near my clitoris, but i dont know if its a cyst or not. It hurrts really bad when you barely* touch it. Its really swollen it looks like and i have no idea how it got there. I tried taking a warm bath, and it still didnt help.
I am so relieved that there are other people out there that have the same problem, I developed my cyst on the hood of my clitorus when I was about 19. Went to the hospital because it had become very swollen and inflamed and I couldn't even walk properly, they sent me home without a diagnoses and just said if it starts to bleed come back... It did start to bleed and when I went back they said it was an abcess about to burst, so they made an incision to drain it but couldn't get it all.
I am now going on 51 years of age, it still flares up every now and again and I just have to squeeze it to drain it myself, in fear that it will swell up so large again, I have been to a few doctors about it and have come away with no reseloution so I have given up going to doctors about it and have just learned to live with it, but it has interfered with my sex drive and intimate relations as I find it just makes it flare up again.
