I had sex with my boyfriend on saturday. The next day my grandpa passed away and ive been very sad and stressed all week. I was supposed to get my period on tuesday. It is now thursday. My friend said delayed periods are common after the first time. But i also know stress delays it and i am also sick. Just a cold though. Im freaking out. We used a condom and he keeps telling me that he checked it and its fine and not to worry but i cant help it. Ive been having some cramps but its still not here. Please help.
Hi bluejay, sorry about to read that about your grandpa, some people say there first time does delay there period but I think that is more to do with the stress it causes, I would say yours it late due to the considerable amount of stress you have been under and the more you stress and worry about getting it the longer it will take to come.
Seeing as your getting cramps then I would say it shouldn't be to much longer :-)
