Hi,
I randomly came across 40 carrots serum, which is a carotene antioxidant serum which is paraben free and supposed to be great for stressed out skin, which I definitely have at the moment. Is this a good pre-Christmas present to give to myself? Does it really work or should I go for another kind of serum? I have always heard that carrots are great for the eyes and skin so I am intrigued and this product has caught my attention. It's always nice to hear from experienced users though, so I thought I would try asking here.
Thank you!
I have not used this myself. I did look up some reviews, however, and many people are saying that the 40 carrots serum either makes their skin break out, or has a drying effect. There are also complains that the serum feels sticky and does not absorb well, which is not a good sign. You should also be aware that the 40 carrots serum contains peanut oil, which is of course a no-no for anyone who is allergic to peanuts. I do wish they would make that more clear.
I hope some people with experience with the 40 carrots serum will reply as well.
No, haven't tried it, but I'm interested. I can see here that I can get that stuff from Amazon UK for £37.27 plus sending costs. I'll be honest and say I think that's a bit on the high end, considering people are saying stuff about it being sticky. Compare that to OZ naturals which got vit C and Hyaluronic Acid and amino acids, which costs £15.95, and I think, yeah, perhaps I'd rather look elsewhere. Camden Cosmetics London has one too, vit C + Hyaluronic Acid + Vit E, that one is £13.47 right now with free sending in the UK, though it usually costs a fair bit more. So all I am saying is, there's better offers out there than this one.
