It has nothing to do with your weight. I'm 135 and I have the same issue. I think it has something to do with the PH levels in the vagina.

that means you are normal. Some pigments are less resistent to your (our) boby acidity, so this depends more on the cloth quality than on the vagina itself.

It due to the slight acid in the discharge. E
Easiest solution is to wash underwear asap. Or use oxicleab.

I believe it has something to do with being overweight or not the correct weight for your body. The best way is to seriously check your diet and drink a lot of water and exercise regularly . Iv been on both sides skinny with no problems at all no discharge no smell no leakage no nothing. Fat (currently now) with leakage orange stains no matter how many new underwear I buy. All the problems that are conversation on this page. Recommend using baking soda or any sort or stain remover to help the bleach stains be removed to carry on using the same pair underwear . As stain removers will remove stains and help underwear stay fresh and clean to be worn for a longer period of time. Once raggedy and ruined then throw out and and buy new pair. They recommend buying new pair of undies 1a month anyway

What Causes Bleached Panties?

In short, bleaching of your panties is caused by the acid in vaginal discharge. Vaginal discharge, for the most part, is a very normal occurrence. Have you ever heard the expression that the vagina is like a self-cleaning oven? Well, think of vaginal discharge as the proof of the vagina's self-cleaning mechanism. It’s a mucous-like substance that contains acids, proteins, and carbohydrates. Sounds innocent, right?

This is not a weight-related issue. I was overweight for years, and even some doctors would be quick to point fingers at ANY little thing that was wrong with me having to do with my weight. There is no way this has anything to do with weight. I just started noticing it and I am 48 years old and at the lowest weight I have been in over 25 years. I'm not having regular periods either. I'm not even supposed to be having periods because I am on the Nuvaring continually to stop my periods due to endometriosis. I am having breakthrough bleeding. It's something other than your weight, dear, and I am sorry your mother is treating you this way. My first guess is some sort of chemical imbalance in the body, but I am not a medical professional.

I'm so sorry that your dad had been making fun of you for something so personal and sensitive... Especially at your age. You're not alone in that regard... even though it's a sad but all too common struggle for teenage young ladies these days, it's not okay!! Quite the opposite!! Your dad may wrongly think he's actually funny (I've known men like that) and perhaps he isn't aware of the damage he's doing to your self esteem and your ability to trust the people closest to you... I would hope your mother or another female family member would advocate for you and impress upon your dad the importance of respecting you by NOT making offensive and hurtful comments to you. Please reach out to someone you can trust if this continues to be a problem for you. If you don't have a close female family member reach out to your schools female counselor... You need support not ridicule. You deserve respect and what your dad was doing is far from respectful. We women have lubricating fluids that are necessary and normal. This is a fact. Please know that we ALL have fluctuating consistency with that regard and the changes follow the rhythm of our menstrual cycles. You must educate yourself well about your body and learn to accept and respect yourself for the amazing biological machine that you are... Life is too short to live life with such shame for something that is the opposite of shameful. Your dad is ignorant of your struggle but that doesn't mean you should be.. Best of luck to you on your personal journey to self-respect and self-love!!!

Your personal experience does not prove your hypothesis about weight causing discharge... You're obviously not in the medical field so maybe you shouldn't say anything. Women have discharge. Yours may have been very light or non-existent before but you're not getting the facts straight. Some discharge is perfectly normal!! We have normal Flora that populates a healthy vagina. If your discharge is foul smelling or causes you pelvic pain or itching vagina it's because you have too much of a normal/good bacteria or you have a more serious condition. It amazes me that women don't know this. Oh and don't use duches.. ever! It is actually very bad for your vaginas ph balance and it's healthy Flora... We are biological creatures and we have to accept the normal functions of our bodies!!!

First thing I noticed was that you are in college, the second is that you may not be a size 2 and third I'm sorry that you have to put up with a problem that I too have. Most of all I don't care what size you are remember that you are perfect and your Mom needs more help then you do!!! Her problem is much worse! By reading this thread I have realized that I'm not alone in this. I'm sorry that your mom thinks that your weight has anything to do with this! I'm going to keep searching for an answer. I'm sorry that I can't buy you new underwear and get you a new "MOTHER"!!!!!
